the use of EVA film

VA film is the main material for produce the safety laminated glass .But whether can successfully produce the qualified laminated glass depends on many factors .Such as laminated glass machine ,the manufacturing process ,the glass and support material ,climatic conditions ,operation skills of the workers and work responsibility .The quality of film is just one of the factors.Therefore ,before produce the tempered glass and safety laminated glass ,the operator should learn to analyze the integrated factors,master the comprehensive production skills.

1.Before the normal production,in order to ensure the product quality,please make sure to carefully check the laminated glass machine(vacuum system,heating system,PLC control system),ruled out the disturbance of the quality caused by the machine failure.
2.Because of the special features of the film and the irresistance during the production.It is better to test a small piece of glass(the suggested glass size is no more than 0.5m)before the use of each beach of film.After confirmed the quality and color of the film then start batch production.This can avoid the scrap caused by the bigger difference between the big orders and the samples.
When big quantity of one kind of EVA film used in one order(especially the film is colored ones),you should also make compare of the finished glass regularly to check whether there is any aberration in quality (especially the chromatic aberration) to avoid large scrap.For the colored EVA film,we do not advocate using the same kind film of two different batches(and the time interval between the two batches are very long).This will cause the chromatic aberration easily.
3.One a rainy day or the workshop environment humidity over 65%,the film,silk,photo papers and glass will become damp very easily,this will influence the viscosity of the EVA film.Before combination work,please check the glassed that has been cleaned and dried for another time.The water and trace moisture must be cleaned up(it is best to use the dryer).Also the middle material also should be treated with dry processing,otherwise the finished laminated glass and toughened glass will have bubbles or adhesive failure in a certain period of time.Therefore, it is better not to do the production in rainy days.
4.Film will inevitably affected by light pollution, such as membrane surface such as trace impurities in using. Advising clients to install a set of daylight lamp, in order to check whether the film surface has impurities, stains and other imprinting.There are individual impurities on film, you can use the point of knife to pick it out.If there are many impurities you should immediately stop using, and inform our company to make corresponding processing, blindly using will cause unnecessary waste for both sides.

5. When using silk or clothes to do laminated glass (such as cotton, paper or plastic printing, natural fiber fabrics, etc.), should confirm the surface properties of materials carefully, because some of the material is conducted among coating treatment or printing, so that it will have chemical reactions with EVA film and affect the film’s adhesive strength, therefore, you need to test these materials first, do not blindly process, not all materials are suitable for laminating. At the same time, it is recommended that to put these material make a proper drying processing, to rule out the contain traces of water. Practice has proves that using the film affected with damp or affected with damp in the middle of the materials will easily appear small bubbles or degumming phenomenon after a period of time.

6, The principle of laminated glass processing is "high temperature and pressure at the same time", therefore, under the effect of a certain temperature, the film will melt and under the action of pressure, it will flow outside the glass;The film around the edge of glass is easily running out and reduce the thickness of the film when cooling contraction, then forming bubbles (degumming) phenomenon.Therefore clients should use surrounding WeiDang which should be slightly higher than the glass thickness, by this method it can reduce vacuum negative pressure and reduce of film outflow.

7. Different kinds of glass or film should not be in the same furnace and using the same process method,otherwise can’t keep a good quality of products.Typically, color film’s processing temperature slightly higher than that of transparency film’s processing temperature;When processing thick film or thick glass, the processing temperature is slightly higher than that of thin film or thin glass;The silk and clothes’s processing temperature slightly higher than that single layer film; In the case of temperature is unfavorable and exorbitant, you can use "prolonged moisturizing" ways to improve the effect of temperature; To set the processing temperature, it is basis on the forming of furnace structure and the heating power, it’s basis on the practice of the customer’s practice, the short-cut "one-pot" can’t keep a good quality of the product. Customers should first be clear about the film in the production of new laminating products or use the new film, or you can call us to consult in order to reduce unnecessary loss or waste.

8. The time of glass cooling is also very important, in theory, the cooling faster, the transparency better.However,if the temperature difference is too big, it’s easy to cause craze or peripheral micro foaming.Therefore, in the summer, the environment temperature is higher,it is available to use High-power auxiliary cooling fan, while in winter, the production environment temperature is low, you can keep the glass inside of the furnace a long time to lose the temperature reach to 60 degrees under the condition of vacuum station and then take out of the glass.

9. You’d better not do edge grinding immediately after molding, otherwise it will affect the bonding strength of around film (easy to degumming). You’d better store 24 hours after forming of glass then start edge grinding;Also it’s better to do edge grinding first, it can effectively prevent the surrounding water foaming phenomenon. We advise to use fine-grained grinding wheel repeatedly samsara edge grinding, coarse grinding wheel or big "turning" edge grinding is easy to damage glass.For some crude fiber which is easy bibulous, we suggest edge grinding first and then laminating, because of the bare fiber materials are easily inhaled water when edge grinding and cause film degumming phenomenon in the late.
